On January 18, 2024, Ghanaian gospel musician Empress Gifty faced an incredibly emotional day as she laid her mother, Evangelist Agnes Aba Annan, to rest. The funeral took place in Tema and drew hundreds of mourners who came to pay their last respects to the beloved matriarch, affectionately known as “Agaga.”
