Prophet Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah, the General Overseer of the Believers Worship Center, has stated that he foresaw the outcome of Ghana’s 2024 general elections as far back as 2008. Speaking to his congregation, he explained that he had kept this knowledge private until now, believing it wasn’t the right time to disclose such significant information.
“I have known about the outcome of this election since 2008,” Kyei-Duah declared confidently. He emphasized that while he had prophesied prosperity and progress, he chose to reveal the details only after the elections to avoid any unnecessary influence on the electoral process.
Subtle hints during campaigns
Throughout the years leading up to the election, Kyei-Duah mentioned that he provided subtle hints during visits from the presidential candidates to his church. “In Accra, when one of them visited, I said, ‘I have seen something.’ In Kumasi, I did the same,” he recalled. These comments, he noted, were part of his efforts to communicate the divine insights he had received without making explicit predictions.
He further explained that the year leading up to the elections would be a “year of confirmation,” urging Ghanaians to remain vigilant and careful in their actions.
A personal connection to the results
Kyei-Duah also expressed his congratulations to the winning political party, drawing a personal connection to the number eight. He pointed out that he is the eighth generational prophet in his family and noted, “The party that won was number eight on the ballot paper.” This connection adds a layer of significance to his prophecy, suggesting a divine alignment with the electoral outcome.
visits from political leaders
The prophet’s church had hosted both major candidates during the campaign. Notably, former President John Mahama visited on his birthday, making a generous donation of GH¢50,000 to the church, which was met with enthusiasm from the congregation. Kyei-Duah led prayers for Mahama, declaring, “Go for your testimony,” signaling his support for the former president.
Conversely, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the NPP candidate, also visited, donating GH¢100,000 and participating in a powerful prayer session. Kyei-Duah wrapped a sacred prayer shawl around Bawumia, symbolizing spiritual protection, and shared with him a prophetic message that he promised to reveal privately after the service.
