
Ministers Designate for various ministries
On January 16, 2025, President John Dramani Mahama unveiled a new set of ministerial appointments. This announcement includes notable names like Haruna Iddrisu, Kwame Governs Agbodza, Abla Dzifa Gomashie, and George Opare-Addo. These appointments reflect Mahama’s commitment to strengthening his administration and addressing pressing national issues.
Haruna Iddrisu, a prominent figure and the Member of Parliament for Tamale South, is set to lead the Ministry of Education. His extensive experience in government and dedication to education make him a strong candidate for this critical role. Kwame Governs Agbodza, who represents the Adaklu constituency, has been nominated for the Ministry of Roads and Highways. Abla Dzifa Gomashie returns to the Ministry of Tourism, Culture, and Creative Arts, this time as the substantive minister. The MP for Ketu South has previously served in this role and is well-acquainted with the industry’s intricacies. In addition to these key appointments, the document disclosed three nominees for regional minister positions:
