Audrey Maame Esi Swatson has made history as Ghana’s youngest female commercial pilot, achieving this remarkable feat at just 21 years old. Currently serving as a First Officer with Passion Air, she operates the Dash 8 Q-400 aircraft, showcasing her skills and passion for aviation.
Maame Esi’s journey into the world of flying began at the age of 18. She attended the Mach1 Aviation Academy in South Africa, where she received rigorous flight training. Within just one year, she completed her first solo flight, marking a significant milestone in her aviation career. By the time she turned 21, she had accumulated a total of 210 flying hours, leading her to obtain her Commercial Pilot License.
